Women's Day!

Happy Women’s Day!

It’s a day to focus on the women’s rights movement and make the inequality visible all over the world.

Have you ever noticed how many visuals are adorned with flowers and hearts?
It’s lovely to appreciate these symbols, but I can’t help but wonder if they overshadow the real struggles women have faced and continue to face.
Throughout history, women have overcome immense challenges and fought against inequality. Using flowers as the main symbol in visuals might unintentionally diminish the significance of these struggles.

Additionally, the portrayal of women with idealized, model-like bodies doesn’t accurately represent the diversity and complexity of women’s experiences today.

What are your thoughts on this?
